Prabhat Kumar Bhargava, S/o Late Shri Vikramaditya Bhargava belongs to a respectable family of Gwalior. His primary & secondary education is from DAV School, degree in civil engineering from MITS, Jiwaji University in 1969 and Post Graduation from University of Roorkee in Building Science & Technology and Civil Engineering.
He started his career as Lecturer in Civil Engineering Dept. of MITS. He resigned from the job and started his consultancy in June 1982 under the name of Building Atelier which was later converted in Bhargava Building Atelier (P) Ltd. During his Post Graduation he has been provided deep knowledge of Architecture, Structure, Valuation, and Project Management etc. Accepting every challenge in all fields of Building i.e. in Architecture, Structure and Valuation every work was done very successfully. Structure design of Mahaveer Bhawan with 75’R.C.C. Roof or 30m span truss or 33mt high R.C.C. Structure for Distillery and Cement Factory are few to name. Malanpur Industrial Area Survey and Planning in 4000 Acre. was appreciated by all and is still one of the best Industrial Area in M.P. State. Even to day occupants are happy. Cricket Pavilion at Gwalior, 1000 bedded Hospital, Mental Hospital, Anand Nagar Park, Interior of S.B.I. Zonal office are few project to provide full satisfaction and appreciation of the work done. Many Educational Institution, Hospital, Houses, Schools have also been planned to the satisfaction of clients.
Considering the need of time, he started soil Investigation and Building Material Testing laboratory. Soon it become a source of genuine testing. He is very active in social life. Rotary Club of Gwalior, SDM School, Andhashram and Bhargava Sabha are few. He has got many awards and prizes from different organizations. He has served as a Scindia School Board Member. Professionally he is a Member of Institution of Engineers, Fellow in institution of valuer, Fellow in Indian Geotechnical Society and Member of All India Consulting Civil Engineering Practicing Engineers.
